Abstract The presented publication is based on the interaction of material core and its surface during machining process with a hydro abrasive flexible cutting tool (AWJ). In AWJ technology, cold cut generated; therefore, there are no thermal stresses newly formed and, consequently, significant internal residual stresses. identifiable by directly measurable parameters: depth cut, deviation path from normal plane, roughness.
